  We went the weekend after thanksgiving, and all the trees were virtually picked clean, apart from some very tiny and/or flawed apples. As we were leaving, they were still admitting new cars; I'm not sure what they were expecting these people to pick. If coming here, I suggest arriving early in the season when there is more supply. Otherwise it may be a wasted trip.

  Great for family. Beautiful orchards. Includes a small shop with very tasty home made ciders, baked goods and other items.

  If you see signs that say "No Piking" they actually mean to say "No Picking." We learned this the hard way when we got chased down, whistled at, and had our apples "confiscated" with a threat of receiving a $200 fine because the we were on "private property." We found out later by overhearing a conversation that the apples we were picking actually get sold in the shop for a special price because they're better quality (they looked beautiful). The staff took our bags and didn't give new ones so we had to walk to the front of the orchard to get more. Will not be returning. We came to this apple orchard because the Pine Farms Orchard down the street has you pay a $3 entrance fee. Highly recommend paying the $3 to avoid an annoying experience at Country Apple Orchard Farm.
